I ♥ Faces - Sepia Toned

This week at I ♥ Faces the theme is Sepia Toned.
I LOVE sepia toned images. (That is probably obvious to you if you've looked some of the other images I've posted on Exposing Grace.)
I love the warmth and mood that adding sepia gives to an image.
Of course, it doesn't work for every image, but I like what it did for these images.

Here is my child entry...

Bubbles (sepia toned)

Here is my adult entry...

contentment (sepia toned)

I love these pictures! Did you add a texture to the back of the 1st one? It looks great!

these are beautiful! I love them both.

Yes I used a few textures on the first picture. 2 of them are TRA actions and the other is a photo of a texture that I blended in.
Thanks for all of the really nice comments.

Oh my gosh. I just love your picture. The child and the bubbles. It just makes me melt. Absolutely perfect. SO pretty. Nice to meet you. I don't think I ever met you before. I love your style! I have to go look around. I am mesmerized by this picture. WOW!

Oh, yes, did sepia ever work for these two images! I love the tenderness and innocence of the first, with its beautiful bokeh, but the adult entry is very striking. Masterfully done.

Wow! I love the kids entry and then I saw the adults entry. That one is absolutely awesome! I'm predicting that the adult one will definitely be in the top 10, if not the winner. Great job! I'm going to have to look around and see your other photos. I'm sure I will be inspired!

Why photography with an eternal purpose?

In 2008 I read a book by Francis Chan called Crazy Love. While reading that book, I was challenged in the way I gave back to God. Tithing couldn't be enough anymore, but our family lived to the end of our means - without any margin for God to use. So I prayed about how that could change. This venture is one of the ways I have responded to the answer to that prayer. A photography business where God gets the majority of the earnings to use for His purposes.
I'm not sure what that fully looks like yet, but I'm excited for the potential of what God is going to do.
